Is there a Peacock free trial?
A good way of saving money on streaming services is to find a free trial, and that's also the case with NBCUniversal's platform Peacock — or it would be, if such a trial existed.
Peacock is great for fans of classic and modern TV shows, with so much offered that we've had to draw up an entire list of the best shows on Peacock. It has comedies like The Office and Cheers, dramas like This Is Us and Law & Order: SVU, plenty of Peacock Originals, Universal movies on Peacock and lots of live sports including the Premier League, rugby, Sunday Night Football and more.
However there's no current Peacock free trial, though the occasional streaming deal will save you from paying full price.
Is there a Peacock free trial?
Peacock used to offer a seven-day free trial, so you could test out its offerings before committing to the monthly or annual plan, but in 2021 it was removed.
That's a growing trend in streaming services with Disney Plus and Netflix also removing such offerings.
So now, to watch anything on Peacock, you'll have to subscribe.
Peacock Premium: this is the cheapest of Peacock's all-access plans because for the lower cost $5.99 per month, $59.99 a year you have to sit through ads.
Peacock Premium Plus: if you can't bear the adverts and want to get rid of them, then you'll need to go for the top plan — Premium Plus costs $11.99 a month or $119.99 annually.
Peacock also used to have a free plan, but in early 2023, that was removed.
What does Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus include?
As a Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus subscriber, you'll be able to access plenty more content, including Peacock Originals like Girls5eva and Rutherford Falls. You'll also get next-day access to current NBC/Bravo hits like Below Deck and Real Housewives.
Plus you can start streaming live sports and events including Premier League soccer, golf and Sunday Night Football. Peacock was also recently the exclusive US home of the Eurovision Song Contest.
You can watch on bags of different devices from computers, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, LG Smart TVs, as well as Xbox and PlayStation games consoles. Premium Plus subscribers can also download and watch selected titles offline.
