Packers running back AJ Dillon and wife Gabrielle announce they're expecting their first child
AJ Dillon, who has nicknamed one of his legs quadfather due to its massive size, will become a father.
The Packers' popular third-year running back and his wife Gabrielle announced Wednesday in joint social media posts that they are expecting the birth of their first child.
The couple, who wed in a beautiful outdoor wedding in Door County this summer, posted photos of the ultrasound with the caption "Dillon, party of 3."

The well-wishes poured in across social media from all spectrums, including from the likes of former Wisconsin Badgers basketball star Sam Dekker and sports reporter Olivia Harlan Dekker, Olympic gold medalist and world champion gymnast Simone Biles, Packers teammates Preston Smith, Eric Stokes and Josiah Deguara, Wisconsin comedian Charlie Berens and Gabriella Watt (wife of Derek Watt), among others.
Dillon and Gabrielle met shortly after he arrived in Green Bay before his rookie season in 2020. She introduced him to Egg Harbor in Door County, where her family has a home, and it was love at first sight, as told in a Journal Sentinel story this year.
Dillon proposed to Gabrielle there and the two were married on the property overlooking the water in June.
Dillon, 24, has become known for his love of all things Door County. He even received a key to the county and has become a defacto ambassador. The Dillons also partnered with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Meijer this summer to provide meals to kids in need.
Dillon said on Twitter Tuesday that the funds went toward 750,000 meals.

If the Dillons need any pregnancy advice, they'll be able to pick the brains of the Bakhtiaris. Frankie and Packers All-Pro offensive lineman David Bakhtiari announced this summer they were expecting their first child. They married in March. In a post on her Instagram account two weeks ago, Frankie said her due date was approaching.
Dillon has rushed for 531 yards on 125 carries and two touchdowns for the Packers after having a breakout 2021 season (803 yards, 187 carries, five touchdowns).
