Pacers rookie Jarace Walker has minor elbow procedure, but will return for camp
Pacers rookie forward Jarace Walker underwent a minor procedure to remove loose bodies in his right elbow, but he is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp, a league source confirmed to IndyStar on Wednesday.

Walker averaged 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists with the Pacers at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas earlier this month after he was taken with the No. 8 overall pick in June's NBA draft.

The 6-8, 250-pound power forward spent one season at the University of Houston, where he averaged 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, earning American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the All-AAC second team. He helped the Cougars to an AAC title, a 33-4 overall record and a No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region in the NCAA tournament before they were upset by Miami in the regional semifinals.
