LAWRENCE, Kansas — The OU men's basketball team hits the road for a game against No. 2-ranked Kansas at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The Sooners (10-5, 1-2 Big 12) are fresh off a 68-63 overtime win over Texas Tech Saturday, while the Jayhawks (14-1, 3-0 Big 12) earned a 76-62 win over West Virginia Saturday.

Three things to know about OU basketball vs. Kansas

• Senior guard Grant Sherfield has received extra attention from opposing defenses in Big 12 play, but backcourt partner Milos Uzan has shouldered a heavier scoring load. The freshman guard erupted for a career-high 18 points in OU's win over Texas Tech and is expected to play a large role against Kansas (14-1, 3-0 Big 12).

• Tanner Groves must stay out of foul trouble against a Kansas team that gets 54.7% of its points from inside the arc, which ranks 80th in the nation. Groves is OU's top interior defender, but the senior center fouled out of the win over Texas Tech and committed four fouls in each of the team's other two Big 12 games.

• Kansas is led by redshirt junior forward Jalen Wilson, who is averaging a conference-high 20.2 points to go along with 8.8 rebounds per game. Wilson averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds in two meetings against OU (10-5, 1-2) last season.
