Ole Miss baseball lands FAU's Jackson Ross, Arizona State's Luke Hill from transfer portal
OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco is off to a hot start in the transfer portal this week.
It started with Arizona State transfer Luke Hill who announced his committed to Ole Miss baseball via social media on Monday. Hill was an All-Pac 12 honorable mention as a freshman this year.
Shortly after Hill's announcement, D1Baseball's Kendall Rogers reported the Rebels have landed Florida Atlantic's Jackson Ross.

Ross is a native of Lakeland, Florida. He spent two seasons at FAU after two years at Pasco-Hernando State College. With the Owls, he started 115 games at third base. He was a 2023 first-team Conference USA selection after hitting .345 with 14 home runs and 58 RBIs this year.
Hill is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who primarily played shortstop for the Sun Devils. He hit .314 with six home runs and 42 runs driven in this year. He's an addition to an infield which has lost plenty this offseason.

All-SEC shortstop Jacob Gonzalez was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 2023 MLB Draft. Second baseman Peyton Chatagnier transferred out. JD Urso, a transfer shortstop from the University of Tampa who originally committed to Ole Miss, is reportedly no longer coming to Oxford.
Ole Miss is coming off a losing season a year after winning a national championship. The Rebels missed the SEC tournament and finished last in the conference.
