LEXINGTON — Sorellé did not back down.

In Monday's live performances on "The Voice," the singing Heichel sisters, as they have done throughout the competition, chose songs by vocal powerhouses.

Each of the five finalists performed a ballad and an uptempo song for the judges and for America. Voting began at the end of the show and continued overnight.

The Lexington trio of Madi, Ana and Bella Heichel selected "A Million Reasons" by Lady Gaga as their ballad and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell as their faster song.

Sorellé has already taken on such powerful singers as Adele and Christina Aguilera.

Niall Horan to Sorellé: 'That was absolutely beautiful, one of your best performances, if not the best'

Once again, the judges were blown away. For "A Million Reasons," the sisters, all clad in white, sat on stools during the performance.

"Girls, that was beautiful," said Niall Horan, one of the judges. "It was so nice to see you strip down like that. All the songs that you've sung so far have been so big and so strong, and this was just such a nice moment to hear all of you individually.

"I had my eyes closed, just listening for all the harmonies. That was absolutely beautiful, one of your best performances, if not the best."

In a taped segment, Sorellé, the Italian word for sisters, read letters they had written to each other, while producers showed family photos of them as children.

"Ana, I remember sitting in our twin beds singing 'Burnin' Up' by the Jonas Brothers," Madi read.

Ana read to Madi, "I have always looked up to you and your grace, talent and beauty, inside and out."

Madi called Bella, the youngest of the trio, "our little sunshine."

Bella got emotional after hearing the letters.

'The Voice' judge Chance the Rapper to Sorellé: 'The performance, top to bottom, was amazing'

Chance the Rapper, who is the coach of Sorellé, voiced his approval of the trio's handling of "A Million Reasons."

"I'm just so incredibly proud of you guys. The harmonies are just so tight," Chance said. "The performance, top to bottom, was amazing. Bella, being the youngest, you carried the song."

Before the second song, host Carson Daly sat down with Chance and the Heichel sisters.

"They were destined to make it to the end from the beginning," Chance said.

Madi replied, "We're so happy to know that America voted us through. It's so special."

Chance went all the way back to the blind auditions on the first show, when Sorellé chose a Queen song.

"I was excited as soon as I heard multiple voices," Chance said. "You can see how much they love the music, how much they love what they're doing.

"I think they have a huge future in music."

Madi said they wanted to win the competition for Chance, who is in his first season as a judge on "The Voice."

Sorellé sings 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' on 'The Voice' finale 2023

For "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," Sorellé came out resplendent in red. The Heichel sisters are nothing if not color coordinated.

They once again added choreography to their performance and upped the tempo of the song toward the end.

"I've said this to you guys before. You always sound like a record," said Blake Shelton, who is wrapping up his 23rd and final season on the show. "It's unbelievable that one person can sing that in tune, but to have all three of you doing it at the same time is just a phenomenon."

Chance couldn't contain his enthusiasm.

"Your voices were so tight. The harmonies were so perfect," he said. "I loved it. Let me calm down before I curse on TV. It was so good."
