NFL Playoff Picture 2022: Week 12 Wild-Card Hunt, Standings and Super Bowl Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles again stand alone at the top of the NFL standings, even though their win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday wasn't their most impressive victory.

Coming off their first loss of the season (an upset defeat at home against the Washington Commanders in Week 10), the Eagles pulled out a 17-16 victory in Indianapolis to improve to 9-1. They're now the only NFL team with only one loss this year.

The Minnesota Vikings also entered Sunday at 8-1 but were on the wrong end of a rout in Week 11, when they fell 40-3 at home to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Vikings are one of only two teams in the league with two losses, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, which improved to 8-2 with a 30-27 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night.

The only Week 11 game still to play is an NFC West clash between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers on Monday night in Mexico City. Then, it's onto Week 12, which will feature a trio of Thanksgiving Day matchups on Thursday.

So, let's take a look at the latest Super Bowl odds for every team in the NFL, followed by the current playoff picture for both the AFC and NFC.

The Chiefs may be in the No. 1 spot after their impressive win over the Chargers on Sunday night, but there are plenty of teams close behind, including five at 7-3.

And while Kansas City has a three-game lead in the AFC West, some division races are a bit closer.

Not the AFC South, though. The Titans improved to 7-3 with their road win over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night, and the second-place Colts fell to 4-6-1 with Sunday's loss to the Eagles. Tennessee appears to be cruising toward a division title.

However, the AFC East and AFC North have competitive races shaping up, particularly the former.

The Dolphins had a bye this week, so they remain at 7-3. But the Bills are also now 7-3 after their Sunday win over the Browns in a game that was relocated to Detroit due to the snowy conditions in Buffalo. Miami is technically in first place in the AFC East, but that could change as soon as Week 12.

Meanwhile, the Patriots and Jets are both 6-4. New England has the edge for a wild-card spot, though, after it defeated New York 10-3 on Sunday. It won on an 84-yard punt return touchdown by Marcus Jones with five seconds remaining.

The AFC North is turning into a two-team race between the Ravens and Bengals, which both won Sunday. Baltimore prevailed over Carolina at home, while Cincinnati notched a road victory over Pittsburgh. Both teams are currently in a playoff position.

The Bengals have won six of their past eight games, but they have a difficult schedule down the stretch, with six of their final seven contests coming against teams now in playoff spots.

So, the defending AFC champions will need to fare well against strong competition in order to make it to the postseason again.

The Eagles continue to be the front-runner for the NFC's No. 1 seed, but the NFC East remains competitive. In fact, all four teams in the division now having winning records after the Commanders improved to 6-5 with a victory over the Texans on Sunday.

The Cowboys moved up to the top wild-card spot with their win over the Vikings, while the Giants dropped to the No. 5 seed after losing to the Lions. Both Dallas and New York are 7-3, and the two NFC East rivals are set to go head-to-head on Thanksgiving Day.

Washington could also be in a playoff spot after Monday night, as it could move up to the No. 7 seed if San Francisco loses to Arizona in Mexico City. If the 49ers win, though, they'll improve to 6-4 and be tied atop the NFC West with the Seahawks, which had a bye this week.

Even though Minnesota had its worst showing of the season Sunday, it remains firmly in control of the NFC North. The Vikings are four games ahead of the second-place Lions.

The Buccaneers had a bye this week, so they remain in first place in the NFC South at 5-5. They'll have a good opportunity to move back above .500 in Week 12, when they have a Sunday road matchup against the Browns.

The Falcons remain in the thick of the playoff mix after their win over the Bears on Sunday. Atlanta is only a half-game behind Tampa Bay in the NFC South, and it's not far behind San Francisco and Washington in the wild-card battle.

In Week 12, the Falcons are on the road to face the Commanders in an important matchup for that race.
