Neighbours' Jack Callahan tries to help Mark Brennan and Paige Smith after their wedding

(Digital Spy)Neighbours' reunited couple Mark Brennan and Paige Smith are in for a big surprise in the show's 35th anniversary episodes next week.
Mark (Scott McGregor) and Paige (Olympia Valance) tie the knot at the Lassiters Wedding Expo, unaware that Jack Callahan has a plan to make life a lot easier for them.
The pair are determined to make their reconciliation work, even though they currently live in different parts of the country.
Paige has commitments in Queensland with Jack (Andrew Morley) and their son Gabe, while Mark will soon be needed in Adelaide again to help look after his unwell mum Fay.

Despite the logistical issues, Paige is inspired by just how happy she feels after reconnecting with Mark. She takes a bold step by asking Mark to marry her, pointing out that fate keeps bringing them together and it's about time they took the hint.
On the day of the wedding, Paige is delighted when Jack (Andrew Morley) shows his support by turning up with Gabe.

Mark is feeling more nervous, worried that something will go wrong as his track record with engagements and weddings isn't the greatest.
After a surprisingly hassle-free ceremony, Mark and Paige enjoy the time they have together and try not to even think about the difficulties they'll soon face with maintaining a long-distance marriage.
Aware of how the newlyweds are feeling, Jack reveals an intriguing idea he has, which would affect Mark and Paige's life forever. Are their troubles finally over?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, March 18 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
