Mountain Dew’s New Atomic Blue Flavor Is at a Soda Machine Near You

Not only do we get one new Mountain Dew with lemonade flavor this summer, we get two! Mountain Dew just released its Spark variety that has a blast of raspberry lemonade flavor, and now we can finally celebrate Mountain Dew Atomic Blue coming out as well.
It was back in February that we discovered PepsiCo had this new soda listed on its website. It’s described as “Dew with electrifying lemonade flavor.” According to the available details, we learned it was a fountain drink exclusive. The drink has just started rolling out, however, so you’re not late to the party here!
According to a picture on a Mountain Dew Reddit page, it shows that the Atomic Blue flavor is exclusively available at Sheetz, a convenience store chain operating in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. However, the drink has already been spotted at Kum & Go, a convenience store chain the Midwest. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the soda will trickle out at more stores, because we need to try this lemonade flavor!

Few things brighten up our day like a new Mountain Dew flavor! Luckily, PepsiCo is always keeping us on our toes with fresh varieties. Soon we’ll be able to get Mountain Dew Atomic Blue, and wow, does it sound good.
The new bright blue soda is listed on PepsiCo’s website, so we’d say this is as confirmed as you can get. According to the description, Atomic Blue tastes like “MTN DEW with electrifying lemonade flavor.” Sounds like a good warm-weather flavor, right? Lemonade is typically pretty sweet, so it’ll be interesting to see how it blends with the soda.
On PepsiCo’s website, Mountain Dew Atomic Blue is detailed in 12-ounce cup (90 calories) and is listed under fountain drink. However, it appears that it will be exclusively available in that form, like Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning. Of course, we’d love for it to come in bottles and cans so we can stock up and enjoy whenever we please, but we’ll have to stay tuned on that.
People are already getting excited about Atomic Blue flavor on Reddit after u/Flashpath posted a picture of it. “That sounds like a new favorite flavor. I hope it’s not too exclusive lol,” one person commented.
PepsiCo must have a thing for blue soda this year, because it was a little over a month ago that an image of Mountain Dew Frostbite was leaked on Reddit. The bottle features a shark bursting through ice, but it’s unclear what the flavor is. We’re not even a quarter of the way into the year and two new Mountain Dews are already on the horizon.
