This Mom Designed the Ugliest Christmas Sweater for Her Daughter and It's Going Viral
Christmas is the time to break out our most beautiful holiday decor and our tackiest, cheesiest sweaters. How ugly sweaters became such a big tradition sure beats us, but our craft-loving hearts will never grow tired of DIYing our own flashy garb. This year, one mom by the name of Megan Grimes designed what has to be the "ugliest" ugly sweater we've ever seen for her daughter to wear to her school party.
In the video posted to Facebook (because a picture would not capture the best and most important detail!), you see Grimes' daughter donning a sweater designed to look like a fireplace. It starts out pretty impressive, with a frilly garland, Christmas lights, and festive stockings hanging off the garment. But watch the sweater for a few seconds and out comes a mechanical Santa Claus casually climbing down the chimney. Absolutely shook!. I don't know about you, but most of the ugly sweaters I've seen over time do not include moving elements, at least not to this extent. This sweater is truly a performance!
We really hope this ingenious look won both Mama Grimes and her daughter a prize at the school dance. If not, the sweater can make another appearance on Friday, December 20, which is National Ugly Sweater Day.

Fingers crossed this promotion brings in a colorful crew of passengers who have the same Christmas spirt and enthusiasm that Grimes had. What a fun way to fly!
