Mississippi State football's Will Rogers breaks two more Dak Prescott passing records
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football quarterback Will Rogers broke two program records in one play Saturday against Auburn.
With a 13-yard touchdown pass to Caleb Ducking in the second quarter, Rogers has thrown 71 touchdowns in his MSU career. That surpasses Dak Prescott's previous record of 70.
The score gave Mississippi State a 10-0 lead. It was Rogers' eighth touchdown pass to Ducking this season.
On the same play, Rogers broke another Prescott record with 9,377 passing yards and counting.
