Michigan football without RB Donovan Edwards, OT Karsen Barnhart vs. UConn Huskies
Running back Donovan Edwards is among three players on the two-deep of Michigan football's depth chart who will miss Saturday's game against Connecticut in Ann Arbor.
Edwards suffered a right leg injury in the second quarter of last week's win over Hawaii. He did not receive medical attention on the field but was seen entering the tent along the sideline and never returned.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh was asked about Edwards' status after the game and said he needed to check with the medical stuff. Harbaugh told reporters Monday there was no additional information.
Edwards was on the field in a sweatsuit during pregame warmups this week.

The Wolverines were also dealt some concerning news regarding offensive tackle Karsen Barnhart (ankle) and inside linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green (soft tissue injury). Barnhart sprained his ankle in the opener against Colorado State and missed Week 2. He was not in uniform Saturday.
Barnhart spent training camp competing with Trente Jones for the right tackle spot. Shaky play from Jones in the first two weeks might have opened the door for Barnhart had he remained healthy.
Hill-Green missed both games to start the season after suffering a soft-tissue injury during training camp. He participated in warmups prior to kickoff against Hawaii but never played.
This week, however, Hill-Green didn't dress in what could indicate a setback in his recovery. A team spokesman confirmed the reason for Hill-Green's absence is the same injury that sidelined him the last two weeks.
