Memorial held for Sacramento County Deputy Adam Gibson

Sacramento County sheriff's deputy Adam Gibson, who was killed in the line of duty last month during a shootout at Cal Expo, was honored during a memorial on Wednesday. The funeral took place at the Bayside Church Adventure Campus in Roseville. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the service was not open to the public. Speakers at the memorial spoke of the 31-year-old's character and career achievements, including the time in 2018 when a quick-thinking Gibson saved a man threatening to jump off a pedestrian bridge and onto Highway 99.
