Meghan Markle Just Shared a Picture on Insta From Before She Was a Royal

  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Instagram, @SussexRoyal, just posted a picture of Meghan from before she joined the royal family.

  • Reminder: Meghan and Harry just stepped down as senior members of the royal fam.

While Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly “still reeling” from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s exit from the royal family, Meghan is apparently “so happy” with life in Canada after stepping back from royal duties. And perhaps just to subtly prove how she’s always been just fine with or without the royal fam, tyvm, Meghan just posted a pre-royal-life pic on the @SussexRoyal Instagram account.

The pic, which was obvi posted for a good cause, shows a pre-Harry Meghan making an appearance at a charity. The caption reads (emphasis mine), “Today, on International Day of Education, we highlight the importance of access to education for all. The Duchess of Sussex has focused on this both prior to becoming a member of the Royal Family and now as patron of The Association of Commonwealth Universities (@The_ACU_Official).”

In other words, Meghan has always been focused on helping others and will continue to do so regardless of her royal title, umtay? And speaking of Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family, Harry opened up about it recently, saying:

“I will always have the utmost respect for my grandmother, my commander-in-chief, and I am incredibly grateful to her and the rest of my family for the support they have shown Meghan and I over the last few months. I will continue to be the same man who holds his country dear and dedicates his life to supporting the causes, charities, and military communities that are so important to me.”
