Lululemon just released a new belt bag for the new year — and it's bound to sell out
The collection is inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, the 2023 Chinese zodiac.
There is something about a limited-edition collection that will always intrigue me. As a shopping editor, I love writing about special collections, and as a shopper, I love buying them.
One newly-launched collection worth eyeing is from Lululemon. Inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, the 2023 Chinese zodiac, Lululemon's New Year collection includes several fan favourites in limited-edition prints.
Shoppers can look forward to a new crossbody bag, their favourite Align staples and not one, but two new renditions of the brand's viral belt bag, one of which features three adorable rabbits.
New Year Everywhere Belt Bag
The details
Lululemon's New Year Everywhere Belt Bag is made from opal white textured fleece fabric and features three black outlined rabbits to represent the Year of the Rabbit — the fourth animal that appears in the Chinese zodiac.
The one-litre bag measures just 9cm x 5.5cm x 13cm (7.5" x 2" x 5") — a perfect size for running errands, bringing to concerts, and carrying the essentials. It has an exterior zippered pocket to store your valuables, interior pockets to organize your must-haves, and an extendable strap for versatility.
As the bag just hit Lululemon's virtual shelves, its reviews are limited. However, early fans say it's "so cute" and call it the "perfect size" as it fits "everything [they] need."
