LSU women's basketball star Angel Reese sets SEC double-double record in Elite 8 vs. Miami
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Her first season with LSU women's basketball has already been filled with historic performances and rewriting the record books.
Add another to Angel Reese's resume with the Tigers.
With a putback in the third quarter of the Elite 8 matchup against Miami, the sophomore forward recorded her 32nd double-double of the season, setting the Southeastern Conference single-season record.
Reese passed current Mississippi State great Teaira McCown, who held the record at 31 double-doubles going back to 2018-19.

LSU's star opened the season with 22 straight double-doubles before the streak was snapped at South Carolina.
Along with breaking the SEC double-double mark, Reese has also set new program highs for single-game record with 28 and also multiple 20-rebound games.
