LOOK: Michael Jordan celebrates Tyler Reddick advancing
Former North Carolina Tar Heel and NBA legend Michael Jordan is part owner of 23XI Racing as he has been very involved in racing following his basketball career.
And now, Jordan has the chance to win a NASCAR title in 2023.
With the completion of Sunday’s race in Charlotte, 23XI Racing driver Tyler Reddick qualified for the next stage as the field for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs were cut down to 8. This was the final race for the 12 drivers to move on and Reddick did just enough to make it to that top 8 and advance on to the next stage.
Following the race, Jordan was spotted celebrating a big accomplishment for his driver.

The round of 8 will begin next week in Las Vegas and feature three races before the final race takes place in Phoenix on November 5th.
Reddick currently sits in seventh place for that round of eight, so he has some work to do in the upcoming races.
