Lipscomb Academy 3-star quarterback Luther Richesson commits to Cincinnati football
Cincinnati picked up one of the top quarterbacks in the state Wednesday after Lipscomb Academy's Luther Richesson announced on Twitter that he committed to the Bearcats.
The 6-foot-3 Richesso is a three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 31 prospect in the state for the Class of 2022 and the No. 60 quarterback in the nation.
He chose Cincinnati over Appalachian State, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Michigan State and Vanderbilt.
Richesson is a Mr. Football semifinalist for the DII-AA No. 1 ranked Mustangs. He has completed 189 of his 228 passing attempts this season for 2,433 yards and 34 touchdowns to just one interception.

"He's one of the best players in the country," Lipscomb Academy coach Trent Dilfer said at the beginning of the season. "There's a reason he had the offseason he had. The team trusts him and we know that we can rely on him."
