Line of Duty's Vicky McClure stars in the latest trailer for Alex Rider, a new spy-thriller from Amazon Prime.

Based on Point Blanc, the second Alex Rider novel by Anthony Horowitz, the series stars Otto Farrant as the titular teenage spy.

Unknowingly trained since childhood for the dangerous world of espionage, Alex is soon dragged into the investigation of his uncle's death, and how it's connected to the assassination of two high-profile billionaires.

Assuming a new identity, Alex goes undercover in a French Alps boarding school called Point Blanc, where the students are the subjects of a sinister plan.

The trailer for the new series, which will be available to stream in full for UK Amazon Prime members on June 4, also gives us a glimpse of McClure's character Mrs Jones.

A member of The Department, a secret offshoot of MI6, Mrs Jones is second in command to Alan Blunt (played by Game of Thrones star Stephen Dillane).
