Kim Kardashian's New Alani Nu Photoshoot Garners Mixed Reactions From Fans

On July 10th, the SKIMS founder uploaded four sizzling pics from her newest shoot that showed her posing with gym equipment, wearing the aforementioned curve-hugging piece along with white stilettos and holding a pink can.

Her caption (which was also shared to the Alani Nu account page) read: "KIMADE. Coming soon with @AlaniNutrition." For her glam, the mom of four wore her long dyed blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant waves. For her makeup look, the SKKN mogul went for black liner, sky-high lashes, rosy blush and a pink pout. She accessorized her skintight garment with a sparkling diamond statement necklace.

In the shots, she lifted weights and sat on an exercise bench. Fans were quick to point out that "something seemed off" in Kardashian's shoot, or that they believed she "lost more weight," as someone commented. Another wrote: "Is there Ozempic in it?" regarding her upcoming Kimade beverage as someone else added: "Does it have a mixture of ozempic in it and come with rib removal?"

One other believed that "this collab would’ve made more sense" for Kardashian's younger sister Khloe, who often promotes health and wellness content. Another replied: "l was thinking the same thing."

Even despite backlash, Kardashian also received compliments under her post, as someone deemed her "gorgeous" in the shoot and another wrote that they "loved" her hair and makeup.

Ultimately, this isn't the first time that Kardashian has been accused of taking the celeb-fave medication Ozempic (that many experts have denounced taking when it comes to weight loss). After the 2022 Met Gala, the Kardashians star came under fire for her rapid weight loss, especially after she claimed that she dropped 16 pounds in 3 weeks just to fit into her dress for that event.

"It didn’t fit!" Kardashian said on the red carpet, regarding her wearing an iconic 1962 Marilyn Monroe gown. "So I looked at them and I said: ‘Give me, like, three weeks,’” she went on. "It was such a challenge, it was like a role. I was determined, I was determined to fit in it."

In an interview with Allure published several months later, Kardashian addressed the backlash. "If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that’s not a good message. But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer," she explained.

Kardashian continued: "I have never drunk more water in my life. I don’t see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles — they are [considered] geniuses for their craft." She added that when it came to rumors about her extreme weight loss regimen: "there are so many things out there that are so not accurate and not true."
