John Mayer is bringing his acoustic tour to Nashville this spring
It's time for another slow dance with John Mayer, Nashville. The famed guitarist-songwriter returns to Bridgestone Arena this spring.
Mayer — a seven-time Grammy Award winner — performs in Music City on March 24, a Friday night. The show stops in Nashville during a month-long run of North American acoustic shows, a first-of-its-kind tour for Mayer.
Ticket pre-sale launches Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. via johnmayer.com; general on-sale opens Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. via bridgestonearena.com.
While Mayer's a regular on the Bridgestone Arena stage — with tour stops at the downtown venue in 2019 and 2022 — fans this March can expect a stripped-back setlist unlike those in his past shows. Mayer plans to primarily deliver an acoustic show, with additional arrangements planned on piano and electric guitar, according to a news release.
Singer-songwriters Lizzy McAlpine and Alec Benjamin open the show, with more tour guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
Mayer's acoustic tour kicks off March 11 in Newark, Jersey, wrapping April 14 in Los Angeles. Tour stops include Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ball Arena in Denver and State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
