Joe Burrow stars in hilarious parody video with Barstool Sports
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow starred in a video with Barstool Sports Tuesday, promoting his latest brand partnership with BodyArmor Sports Drink.
In the video, Burrow shared his secrets to success with host and "quarterback correspondent" Caleb Pressley. He sported a matching two-piece sweatsuit adorned with the BodyArmor logo and sipped the sports drink, while BodyArmor merchandise, of course, displayed in the background.
During the four-minute parody, Pressley asked the Pro Bowler how he gets his competitive advantage and if the term is just code for "cheating."
"Legal cheating," Burrow joked.
Pressley asked the QB why he doesn't just wear a jacket and drink a few beers to warm up before a big game. He also questioned Burrow on the most important muscle for a quarterback, asking if it's the heart.
"If you want to call that a muscle," Burrow responded.
Joey B then showed off his basketball skills, sinking four shots in a row, and he bragged that he has lifted roughly 400 pounds.
The video ended with Pressley asking Burrow what his real competitive advantage is, which the star QB answered with "drinking BodyArmor."
"It tastes good. It's got the right stuff in it," Burrow explained. "I like to put stuff in my body that's going to help me perform."
BodyArmor announced a multiyear partnership with Burrow on Tuesday. He joins a roster that includes San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young and more.
