Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith are doing their best to keep calm as they prepare to welcome their first child amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Per People, Jackson shared during a video interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan that he and his wife were "managing stress" from the novel coronavirus while simultaneously being in the homestretch of their pregnancy. The Little Fires Everywhere actor explained that the couple were remaining hunkered down at home in California while they wait to welcome their baby girl.

"We're just trying to figure out on a moment to moment basis how to get through this with our sanity,” explained Jackson. "We're in the board game stage now. We did a lot, a lot, a lot of binge watching last week, so now … we've moved our way through Monopoly. Now it's actually Jenga. Jenga's the thing!"

Jackson continued to assure that both Turner-Smith and the baby are healthy and doing fine, but a bit of stress surrounding an inevitable hospital visit still remained.

"We are in the very, very home stretch. Everybody tells us that the first baby's late so we're probably 10ish days away," said Jackson. "[Jodie is] physically fine and the baby is physically fine so the important things are all good. We're just figuring out how to deal with interacting with doctors and hospitals right now."
