Rapper Travis Scott released his long-awaited fourth studio album, “Utopia,” early Friday, and Kansas Jayhawks fans are especially happy.

They’ve listened to one particular song over and over again because the lyrics name-check the Jayhawks.

Hyaena,” the hard-driving first of 19 tracks on the album, sets the tone for what’s to come and includes these lyrics:

“…I be all around the map

“Write a show by myself like I’m Chelsea Handler

“Or write a series ‘bout my bitches like I’m Kelsey Grammar

“Nicknamed the jet Jayhawk ‘cause it’s outta Kansas

“You know it’s Spaldin’ in my top, I’m in my esperanza.”

“Wow this new Travis Scott album is a 10/10 (all I’ve listened to is the Kansas Jayhawk line 50 times),” Twitter user Big Jay Burner tweeted after the album dropped.

Kansas City T-shirt maker Charlie Hustle was quick to suggest that Scott be invited to KU basketball’s annual “midnight madness” at Allen Fieldhouse, an idea some KU fans began to champion on social media.

“Travis Scott Late Night In The Phog … how do we make this happen?” the company tweeted.

Late Night crowds have been treated to big-name musical entertainment in the past.

KU athletic officials invited Snoop Dogg to perform in October 2019, then later apologized when some fans complained about the pole dancers and other props he brought.

This year’s Late Night is set for Oct. 6. More details will be announced later, according to KU Athletics.

Never say never.

Rapper A$AP Rocky, for instance, was just in Kansas City in early June to film his newest video released this week.

In the meantime Jeremy, aka @hotsaucedealer on Twitter, predicts this: “Travis Scott saying ‘name the jet jayhawk cause it’s outta Kansas” on Utopia is about to go triple platinum at KU parties.”

Yup.
