Jennifer Dawson among champions crowned at Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships
Jennifer Dawson, the world’s top-ranked player on the senior pro women’s singles side, earned her second gold medal of the 2022 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships on Sunday.
Day 2 of action at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden featured senior mixed doubles competition on the amateur side as well as men’s senior pro doubles and women’s senior pro singles. The courts at Indian Wells saw nonstop action all morning and afternoon from men’s doubles 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+ and women’s singles 65+,70+,75+,80+,85+.
On the senior pro women’s singles, Julie Johnson and Jennifer Dawson faced off – with Dawson winning a gold medal Saturday night and claiming another consecutive gold medal Sunday. She finished her singles run with a resounding 11-4, 11-4 win.

Defending champions Dave Weinbach and Dayne Gingrich made their return to Championship Court, with Weinbach ranked No. 1 in the world and Gingrich ranked No. 3. After many hard-fought battles on their way back to the gold, Weinbach and Gingrich took on David Furman and Scott Fliegelman and defended their title as men’s senior pro doubles gold medalists.
Tuesday's schedule includes Mixed Pro Split/Age (1 Pro 50+ and 1 Pro under 50) and Mixed Skill/Age Doubles 50+, 55+, 60+ (3.0 and 3.5).
Tournament action will continue through Sunday, Nov. 13. All tickets are digital and can be purchased online. You need to download the AXS Mobile App to access, transfer, or sell your digital tickets.
All attendees are required to show valid proof of full vaccination or a negative PCR COVID test result. The requirements also apply to kids (above 6 months of age) and there are no exceptions.
Tickets range from $15 to $120 depending on what package you choose. General parking in the lot off of Miles Avenue is $10 for cars and $20 for RVs. Parking must be purchased before arriving. Parking passes are available online at usapickleballnationalchampionships.com/tickets/
