Will Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum finish their careers with the Boston Celtics?

Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has signed a $304 million, five-season supermax contract extension with the Celtics this offseason, given his All-NBA nod in 2022-23 qualified him for the massive deal. Moving forward, his potential alongside fellow All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum for winning a title could very well decide whether he remains with Boston longer-term.

The Celtics are hopeful that this combination of two superstar players will work out in the long term. However, there are concerns about the massive contracts for the two star players with Tatum also qualifying for a supermax, and their impact on role players in the league teams like Boston will need to find a way to surround them with.

The hosts of the ESPN “NBA Today” show recently got together to talk over what looming double supermax deals might mean for the Celtics.
