Jaelan Phillips injury. Terron Armstead injury. Connor Williams injury. River Cracraft injury.

The Dolphins will play at Buffalo on Sunday in a critical AFC East battle.

Coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that edge rusher Jaelan Phillips (oblique) won't play.

Offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee/back/ankle) and center Connor Williams (groin) were scheduled to practice Friday and "we're going to assess and do right by those players."

What if Jaelan Phillips injury sidelines key Dolphin?

Without Phillips, the Dolphins will need Andrew Van Ginkel to play as well as he has in recent weeks.

Miami may also need Emmanuel Ogbah to play an increased role, as he did last week.

Armstead is Miami's best offensive lineman. If Williams were unable to play, former guard Liam Eichenberg would be in line to start. Eichenberg relieved Williams last Sunday and played solidly.

Vic Fangio vs. Josh Allen fascinating Dolphins-Bills Sunday storyline

McDaniel said receivers River Cracraft (shoulder) and Erik Ezukanma (neck) will be out Sunday.

This could mean more reps for Robbie Chosen and/or Cedrick Wilson.

Jaylen Waddle (concussion) is slated to return.

"Last week we gave Robbie an unbelievable opportunity, with Jaylen Waddle down," McDaniel said. "He had been training very well. The speed makes it difficult to hone in on Tyreek (Hill) when Jaylen wasn't in there."

McDaniel said Ezukanma's injury could be related to something that originally occurred in college.
