Jack Dugan voted North Jersey Football Player of the Week for Week 9

After four days of voting, Westwood RB/LB Jack Dugan has been selected as the North Jersey Football Player of the Week for Week 9.

The senior carried the ball 20 times for 181 yards and three touchdowns in the Cardinals' 34-0 win over Hanover Park in the first round of the North 1, Group 2 playoffs. He also kicked four extra points in the win.

Joe Abill

Clifton LB/TE

The senior caught a touchdown pass on offense and made a key fumble recovery on defense in the Mustangs' 17-7 win over East Orange in the first round of the North 1, Group 5 playoffs.

Luca Gemma

Ramsey RB/LB

The junior ran for three touchdowns in the Rams' 35-21 win over Bernards in the first round of the North 2, Group 2 playoffs. The win was Ramsey's first playoff win since 2011.

Bryce Hamilton

Waldwick/Midland Park running back

The junior carried the ball 15 times for 288 yards and two touchdown in the Warriors' 51-31 win over Cresskill in the first round of the North 1, Group 1 playoffs. Waldwick/Midland Park set a school record for most points in a playoff game.

Bryce Honig

Weehawken WR/DB

The senior carried the ball nine times for 126 yards and a touchdown in the Indians' 29-0 win over Bogota in an NJIC Union Division game. On defense, he made four tackles, forced a fumble, and intercepted a pass.

Nate Johnson

Northern Highlands quarterback

The sophomore completed 23 of 32 passes for 372 yards and three touchdowns in the Highlanders' 27-12 win over Montgomery in the first round of the North 1, Group 4 playoffs. He also ran for 45 yards in the win.

Andrew Knight

Glen Rock quarterback

Knight ran for 104 yards and a score in the Panthers' 13-7 win over Ridgefield Park in the first round of the North 2, Group 2 playoffs. Glen Rock visits Newton this week.

Jacob Sconza

River Dell quarterback

Jacob Sconza ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the Hawks' 35-14 win over Vernon in the first round of the North 1, Group 3 playoffs. He went 15-of-22 for 216 yards in the win.

Van Weber

Rutherford quarterback

The senior completed 14 of 19 passes for 302 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 42-14 win over Mahwah in the first round of the North 1, Group 2 playoffs. Rutherford hosts Dumont next.
