IU women's basketball to face Tennessee, Princeton in Fort Myers Tip-Off

During Thanksgiving, Indiana women's basketball will participate in the 2023 Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off.

IU will be in the Island Division and face Tennessee on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23) in a nationally-televised game on FOX at 6 p.m. On Nov. 25, the Hoosiers will take on Princeton at 11 a.m.

Indiana beat Tennessee in Knoxville last season, 79-67. Though the Volunteers lead the all-time series 2-1.

Against Princeton, IU is 1-1 all-time. Most recently, Indiana defeated the Tigers in the round of 32, 56-55, to advance in the 2022 NCAA tournament. The only previous meeting between the two schools came in 1978.

Coming off its first outright Big Ten regular season championship, the Hoosiers 2023-24 roster will feature four returners from the team that won 28 games. Mackenzie Holmes will lead IU after being named an All-American in 2022-23. The team will also be led by seniors Chloe Moore-McNeil and Sydney Parrish, graduate student Sara Scalia and sophomore Yarden Garzon.
