“It has been an amazing 5 years coaching here in the historical fieldhouse,” Brand wrote on his Twitter page. “I want to thank Mr. Mapes (superintendent Pat Mapes, who is retiring in June) for the opportunity to lead the program. For the past 17 years from college to high school, I have put my heart into coaching. It has been awesome to able to invest in a lot of great players. I am now going to take the time to invest more into my own kids. I am excited to do some things with them that I have put off because of my schedule.
