Indiana Fever waive 6-10 center Bernadett Hatar

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever have waived Bernadett Hatar, the team announced Wednesday.

The 6-foot-10 center signed a training camp contract with the Fever in February but did not appear in camp and was temporarily suspended May 18 because of a Euroleague commitment.

According to the EuroBasket website, Hatar played for Sopron in the 2022-23 Euroleague season.

Hatar played for the Indiana Fever in 2021, appearing in seven games and starting two before going down with an injury. In her short stint for the Fever, she averaged 15.1 minutes per game with 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds.

Indiana signed her to a training camp contract in 2022 but suspended her contract for the full season because of a non-WNBA injury.
