Hugh Jackman's Estranged Wife Caught Off-Guard by Radio Show Amid Divorce

Hugh Jackman's estranged wife Deborra-Lee Furness is speaking out after it was revealed earlier this month that she and the actor would be separating.
Furness, who's been married to The Wolverine star for 27 years, was heard in an impromptu video recording, responding to a pair of Australian radio hosts as they accidentally dialed her into their show.
Though she said very little, and nothing at all in regards to her impending divorce, it is the first time the public has heard anything at all from Furness since the news of the split from her longtime husband was released.
When Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson—who unknowingly dialed the native Australian actress and producer's number during a live session—realized they had her on the line, Kyle admitted, "We have actually called you by mistake, it's ridiculous. Seriously, this isn't a stitch up."
The Kyle and Jackie O Show host continued: "But now you're here, we won't go into it. We love you, we hope you're well."
"Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. You're really sweet," Deborra-Lee replied after simply, well, picking up the unexpected phone call.
Noting that this life change is all very fresh, Kyle added, "I just feel it's too soon. I don't want to get involved in anything. But we love you, and you ring us when you want to chat," to which Furness responded, "Thank you, guys. I really, really appreciate it," before ending the call.
As Parade previously reported, the pair announced the split with a statement on Friday, Sept. 15, letting fans know that they have amicably decided to part ways.
"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," the pair explained in a statement to PEOPLE. "Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."
The duo shares two children: Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
