The Home Depot Is Hiring 80,000 Associates Just in Time for Spring
Looking for a job? On Tuesday, The Home Depot announced that it's hiring 80,000 associates over the next several months. According to the home improvement retailer, spring is its busiest season of the year. So it’s hiring both full-time and part-time employees to help with added workload.
Love gardening and want to make some extra money? You're in luck. Many of the part-time associates will be hired to work in the garden center. If you're staffed in the garden, you’ll get to “work with [your] hands and help neighbors start spring projects,” per the press release. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by garden plants and flowers during your shifts. The company is also hiring for overnight freight, merchandising, warehouse, and other customer service roles across store departments.
The Home Depot is looking to hire job seekers with different backgrounds and experiences. So if you’re not sure you’re qualified for the openings, you should still apply. Need more to convince you?
