Home and Away lines up terrifying ordeal for Leah Patterson-Baker at the Diner

Home and Away's Leah Patterson-Baker is left shaken by an upcoming incident that unfortunately reminds her of her past trauma.

As revealed by Australia's TV Week, viewers down under will see Leah assaulted in the Diner this week.

Leah, who is still slowly recovering from being kidnapped and held in a cabin, leaves her phone at the Diner after closing and returns to find the premises unlocked.

Upon entering, she sees a mysterious hooded thief trying to break into the till. She screams and causes the robber to run, but on the way out they push her to the floor.

"She hits the ground and is left in shock," actress Ada Nicodemou told the publication.

"What's troubling is the lasting effect this could have on her. It could bring her past trauma back to the surface."

Home and Away, and fellow Aussie favourite Neighbours, have returned to filming, although there are some major differences in how things are being done.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). The aforementioned Leah scenes will air this week in Australia, and in about four to six weeks in the UK.
