Hollyoaks reveals first two classic episodes to air in Favourites series
Hollyoaks has revealed the first two classic episodes that kick off the Hollyoaks Favourites series.
In the wake of the coronavirus crisis, the Channel 4 soap is airing reruns of old episodes to compensate for the show suspending filming.
Presented by Kieron Richardson and Jorgie Porter, Hollyoaks Favourites gives viewers a chance to revisit some of the soap's landmark episodes, including everything from weddings and bust-ups to some of the show's best stunts.
To kick things off, fans will be treated to Mercedes and Doctor Browning's wedding from 2013.
The first of two parts, which airs on April 2, follows the build up to Mercedes' fourth trip down the aisle to marry Dr. Browning.
However, things look like they might not go ahead after Mercedes learns that her husband to be recently made a pass at Lindsey Butterfield in a lift.
Browning attempts to get himself out of the situation by insisting it was Lindsey who made a move on him.
Mercedes fell head over heels for Browning, not knowing that he killed her friend, nurse Lynsey.
In the second part, which will air on April 3, Mercedes' mum Mrya – who knows exactly what her future son-in-law is like – tries to put a stop to the wedding but ends up getting locked in a wardrobe...
From March 30, Hollyoaks airs Mondays-Wednesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and from April 6, it will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm. First-look episodes will air on E4 at 7pm.
