Baseball: Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex bracket, scores and schedule
Defending champion Hunterdon Central received the No. 1 seed in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament on Monday. Voorhees was named the second seed. Both teams received byes to the quarterfinals.
No. 3 Pope John, No. 4 Phillipsburg, No. 5 North Hunterdon, No. 6 Vernon, No. 7 Sparta and No. 8 Newton all got first-round byes.
The first round must be played by April 20 and the second round by April 23. The quarterfinals will be on April 30. All those games will be hosted by the better seed.
Semifinals will be May 7 at Lenape Valley. The HWS baseball final is 11 a.m. May 15 at Phillipsburg, before the softball final.
