Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. threw down a monster dunk in Miami Pro League
With the offseason in full swing, a slew of NBA players pulled up to the Miami Pro League on Wednesday, including some familiar names on South Beach.
Miami Heat players Bam Adebayo, Haywood Highsmith and Jaime Jaquez Jr. headlined the run, which also included Chicago center Andre Drummond, Minnesota guard Wendell Moore, Brooklyn guard Dennis Smith Jr. and free agent John Wall among others.
The group put on a show for those on hand with several dunks, flashy passes and other highlight-worthy plays. Adebayo threw down a one-handed alley-oop and Jaquez later had an emphatic two-handed jam on the other side of the court.

The action served as another opportunity to watch Jaquez since the Heat drafted him with the 18th pick in June. He was limited to just two appearances after suffering a shoulder injury on July 5 in the California Classic. He totaled 26 points in 37 minutes of action.
He has been the subject of some potential chatter amid the ongoing trade request by Damian Lillard, who reportedly only wants to play with the Heat. The situation seems to be at a standstill at the moment but figures to ramp up as training camp nears in October.
Jaquez’s future in Miami is certainly in flux but the 22-year-old hit the court on Wednesday and was among those players that put on a show in front of the home crowd.
