Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach named on OpenTable’s top 100 outdoor dining restaurants list
Pensacola’s very own Grand Marlin was among 17 Florida restaurants to make OpenTable’s annual list of 100 Most Popular Restaurants for Outdoor Dining.
The list, which was created after analyzing over 13 million OpenTable diner reviews, showcases top-rated restaurants from across the U.S. that feature everything from charming waterfront restaurants to intimate rooftop bars.
Florida had the second most restaurants on the list, trailing California by about 14 restaurants. The restaurants aren’t ranked in any sort of order.

Outdoor dining increased 20% in May and 19% in the first half of June when compared to 2022, according to OpenTable.
"Outdoor dining is up 19% (year-over-year) for June (1 – 15), a strong start to the season," said Susan Lee, chief growth officer of OpenTable, in a statement. "With many restaurants elevating outdoor dining spaces for summer and beyond, this list represents dining destinations with incredible outdoor – and culinary – offerings.”
This isn’t the first time Grand Marlin has made an OpenTable list. In 2018, it was listed on the Top 100 Al Fresco Restaurants list and the Top 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America list. Grand Marlin was also recognized by the site this year in the Top 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America.
