Getting to Indianapolis Motor Speedway
ENTRANCE GATES: All entrance gates to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are open on Indianapolis 500 race day. To ensure smooth entry, it is recommended that all fans arrive at the gate closest to their seating location before 10 a.m.
INDIANAPOLIS 500 RACE DAY PARKING: All Indianapolis 500 race day parking is pre-purchase only. You must purchase a race day parking pass in advance to park inside Indianapolis Motor Speedway lots.

ROAD CLOSURES: Closures will occur between 16th Street and Olin Avenue starting at approximately 11 a.m. ET. Polco Street will not be accessible northbound from 10th Street during this time.
Georgetown Road, south to 25th Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic starting at 5 a.m. To access parking lots along Georgetown Road after 5 a.m., southbound traffic should take 25th Street to Auburn Street, northbound traffic should take Crawfordsville Road to Winton Avenue.
EXITING THE FACILITY: Vehicular traffic exiting Indianapolis Motor Speedway parking lots will be directed by public safety officials to ensure the quickest possible route. Vehicles can be held in lots upward of two hours following the race while awaiting pedestrian traffic to clear.
CAMPING: All Indianapolis 500 race day camping is sold out.
