'GMA' Fans Have Questions About Michael Strahan’s Latest Instagram

From Good Housekeeping

  • Michael Strahan recently announced on Instagram that Nikki and Brie Bella have signed onto his management company SMAC Entertainment.

  • The Good Morning America star's post prompted his followers to ask for more information.

  • Here's what to know about SMAC.

This week, Michael Strahan shared some big news on social media involving WWE stars Nikki and Brie Bella.

On Instagram, the Good Morning America star posted a screenshot of a headline announcing that the Total Bellas stars had signed onto SMAC Entertainment. "I want to officially welcome @thenikkibella and @thebriebella to the #SMACFAM! Let’s get to work, ladies! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾," Michael captioned the photo.

Responding to the post, Nikki wrote in the comments section, "Yes!! 🙌🏼 So excited!!" But while Nikki may have been excited, some of Michael's followers appeared a bit confused. "What is Smacfam entertainment? Just wondering 👍🏼👊," one fan asked. "SMAC?" another asked, while someone else wrote, "Sorry sir I love them but what will they be doing?"

To be clear, SMAC Entertainment is a talent management, music, branding, and production company founded by Michael and former NFL strategist Constance Schwartz-Morini. Per the company's website, Michael and Constance started SMAC in 2011. So far, the organization's talent management roster includes Erin Andrews, Wiz Khalifa, Deion Sanders, and now, of course, Nikki and Brie.

"They [SMAC] are incredibly talented, versatile and encompass the same work ethic that we pride ourselves on and value most," Nikki wrote on Instagram while announcing the news. "We look forward to joining forces to help expand on the incredible foundation they’ve already built for their growing empire. 🙌."

In terms of what the Bella sisters will be up to, we know that the reality stars' show, Total Bellas, was recently renewed for a sixth season on E!. What's more, the wrestling duo head up the apparel line Birdiebee and released the co-memoir Incomparable in May.

Meanwhile, Michael also has his plate full. Though it's rumored (not confirmed by ABC) that Strahan, Sara, and Keke might be going off air, Michael is still on GMA and $100,000 Pyramid and works as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday and the Thursday Night Football pregame show during football season.
