Gisele Bündchen Left Tom Brady a Note 2 Years Ago Saying She Was Unhappy With Their Marriage
On The Howard Stern Show, Tom Brady revealed that his wife, Gisele Bündchen was unhappy with their marriage a few years ago.
Tom prioritized sports over his family life, and that upset Gisele.
While the concept of marriage seems really fun in practice, I have heard that it's actually a lot of hard work to keep the sacred union strong. It's tough for regular folk and uber rich and gorgeous peeps alike, so it must be true! In fact, a prime example of this is Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen—who have been together for over a decade, by the way—have had a hiccup or two in their marriage.
During a guest appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Tom revealed that Gisele left him a note saying she wasn't happy with the way their marriage was going because Tom placed too much importance on his money-making endeavors, and not enough importance on his family and home life.

“There was a couple years ago, she didn’t feel I was doing my part for the family,” Tom said. “She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house, and then all the sudden when the season would end, that I’d be like, ‘Great, let me get into all my other business activities. Let me get into my football training.’ And she’s sitting there going, ‘Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?’”
“She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, and I needed to make a change in that. … Her point was, ‘Of course this works for you…but it doesn’t work for me,’” Tom added. “I had to check myself. Because she was like I have my goals and dreams, too.’”
Here's a little backstory: Gisele actually asked Tom to retire from football two years ago. “If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today,” Tom said in a separate Sirius XM interview. “She told me that last night three times. And I said, ‘Too bad, babe, I’m having too much fun right now.’” Gisele didn't give up on getting Tom to retire, but instead enlisted some of his friends to talk to him. Unfortch, she was (and still is) unsuccessful in getting him to give the sport a break.
There is a a silver lining here, though—Tom has kept Gisele's note as a reminder of that time in their marriage, likely to prevent things between them going sour. It sounds like things between them have only improved since then, so here's to another year in their beautiful marriage!
