Giannis Antetokounmpo throws down monstrous breakaway dunk as Tim Hardaway Jr. avoids being posterized again in Bucks win over Mavericks
Tim Hardaway Jr. had to have been having flashbacks.
It was in 2018 when Hardaway was with the New York Knicks and Giannis Antetokounmpo literally jumped over him during a breakaway after getting the alley-oop from Khris Middleton.

Flash forward to Sunday night with the Bucks and Mavericks meeting up at Fiserv Forum and it was almost déjà vu. This time, Hardaway thought better of it to get in the way of Antetokounmpo.
After a Brook Lopez steal, he dished it to Antetokounmpo, who at the time was still in the Mavericks' end of the court. The Bucks star took two dribbles, along with some very long strides, and barreled his way to the hoop. Hardaway, who has been with the Mavericks since being traded from the Knicks midway through the 2018-19 season, was there in the paint waiting for him.
With Antetokounmpo coming at him full steam ahead, Hardaway made what many on social media are calling "a business decision" by just stepping to the side. The result was a monstrous dunk by Antetokounmpo and Hardaway avoided being posterized.

Social media, of course, took notice of the situation.
Safe to say Tim Hardaway Jr. wasn't going to make the same mistake twice... https://t.co/sN0o8y2VVN

Antetokounmpo also had a pretty dunk after putting a spin move on Mavs star Luka Dončić in the second quarter.

Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points on 11 of 18 shooting in the Bucks' 124-115 victory.
The Bucks' two-time MVP had so much fun in this one that he was playing with some of Lopez's toy dinosaurs at one point during a timeout.
