Full schedule for 2023 College World Series as LSU looks to win 7th national title
The LSU baseball team will begin its run in Omaha on Saturday against Tennessee at the 2023 College World Series.
It will be the team’s first appearance at the CWS since coming up short as the national runner-up in 2017, and LSU is looking to capture its first national title since 2009 (as well as the seventh overall in program history).
The tournament is set up like a regional, with the eight-team field split into two double-elimination brackets. The two teams to emerge will face each other in a best-of-three national title series.
The action gets going on Friday with the opposite side of the bracket, but LSU will have the day off. Here’s the full schedule for the College World Series as coach Jay Johnson looks to capture a national championship in his first trip to Omaha with the Tigers.
All times are listed in CT, and all games will be televised on ESPN (unless noted).
