Foster Moreau signs his Saints contract in an outfit that’s as New Orleans as it gets

Did you know Foster Moreau is from New Orleans? The Saints’ newest pickup made that very clear in Wednesday’s photo-op when he put pen to paper on his free agent contract with the team, wearing an outfit that’s as authentically New Orleans as it gets.

For one thing, he picked up a Team Gleason “No White Flags” shirt (in Saints colors, a nice touch) to represent the charity foundation managed by the New Orleans legend Steve Gleason and his family — you can find your own here.

And for another, which wasn’t immediately clear in the first photo the Saints shared online, were his kicks. Moreau arrived at the facility in a pair of Nike Jordan 1 Low sneakers in Zion Williamson’s signature “Voodoo” colorway, which have been a coveted sight at New Orleans Pelicans games since they were released. It’s nice to see Moreau has good taste. Hopefully he continues to recover from lymphoma treatment and gets on the field with few limitations.
