What's new in Fortnite?
Fortnite just launched Season 2 of Fortnite OG. This continues the mode's support now that it's a permanent feature in the game. Now, you can jump into a recreation of Chapter 2's map, with Tilted Towers and Snobby Shores both available. Over the course of the next 6 weeks, weapons like the Boogie Bomb and items like the Chug Jug will be introduced alongside a regularly rotating arsenal.
Fortnite Chapter 6 is finally here, launching off with Fortnite: Demon Hunters, which completely switches up the map. There's new weapons to try out, you can now Wall Jump, and there's a whole new Battle Pass to work through.
Given that this latest season is now coming to an end tomorrow, we're starting to hear details on the next season of Fortnite. For now however, there's still a whole new loot pool to try out, and a bunch of epic samurai skins to earn via the new Battle Pass. It's frequent updates like these that make Fortnite one of the best battle royale games around.

When does the current season of Fortnite end?
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 will end on February 21, 2025 at 2AM ET / 7AM GMT. This is according to the main Battle Pass screen in-game. In addition, Epic Games stated this end date and time in a recent blog post detailing the Godzilla tie-in.
It's worth noting that some previous seasons's timings shifted by a couple of days just before the new one was supposed to arrive, so timings here are always subject to change regarding downtime periods. When is the next season of Fortnite?
The next season of Fortnite has yet to be fully detailed, but it'll launch on February 21, 2025. This is when Chapter 6 Season 1 ends, and based on some recent tweets from Epic Games, it's when the new season will kick off.
What to expect from the next Fortnite season
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is now winding down, with Season 2 set to launch tomorrow. As such teasers have started to drop for Fortnite: Lawless, with an image having been shared on Twitter. You can see this below:
So far, we know the name of the upcoming season and that it'll feature a new character called "Big Dill". Big Dill will also be dropping a single called "Tasty Bois" at some point. From the looks of the teaser trailer, it's clear that Lawless has a hiphop/heist theming. There's loads of graffiti, underground subway tunnels, and a new electrified sword.
Fortnite Chapter 6 map changes
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is now here, bringing an entirely new map to explore. It features large POIs like Seaport City, with large buildings that can be explored and looted. Elsewhere, you'll find large mountains, long bridges and ancient buildings.
