Former Vanderbilt women's basketball guard Brylee Bartram transfers to Florida Gulf Coast
Former Vanderbilt women's basketball guard Brylee Bartram transferred to Florida Gulf Coast, according to a news release from the Eagles' program.
Because Bartram played for Vanderbilt earlier this season, she will be required to sit out the rest of the season, per the NCAA's rules on midseason transfers.
Bartram played in 10 games prior to entering the transfer portal, most recently in an early December loss to Kansas. Bartram, who held the national high school career record for 3-pointers made, was shooting 29% from deep in the early going.
Bartram began her career at Florida before transferring to Vanderbilt in the spring of 2020. She received a waiver to be immediately eligible in December 2020 and played in all eight games before the team opted out of the season due to a lack of available players.
Without Bartram, the Commodores have just 12 players on their roster, including one, Kiara Pearl, who has not played this season.
