Former Purdue football QB Brady Allen transfers to Louisville, reunites with Jeff Brohm

Brady Allen, the 2021 IndyStar Mr. Football winner, has found his new home... and he'll have a familiar face waiting for him.

Allen announced Tuesday he will transfer from Purdue to Louisville and reunite with former Boilermakers head coach Jeff Brohm.

Allen, a freshman, initially entered the transfer portal in December before withdrawing and going through Purdue football spring camp. Allen's initial entry into the portal came when the Boilermakers landed Hudson Card from Texas. Card was Purdue's No. 1 quarterback throughout spring camp, and Allen re-entered the portal last month.

Allen played in one game at Purdue, going 1-for-3 for 8 yards against Indiana State during what became a redshirt season last fall.
