According to the arrest affidavit, Quintanilla began talking to a former student through Facebook messenger when she was a ninth-grader at W.B. Ray High School.

Conversations between Quintanilla and the girl became "flirty" and led to Quintanilla asking the girl for nude photos on Snapchat, the document states.

"Their relationship became sexual when she was in the 10th grade and 16 years of age," the document reads. "She stated the first sexual encounter was on October 30, 2015, when she visited Anthony at Hamlin Middle School."

After the encounter, they continued to have a sexual relationship about once a month for the next two years, the document states.

"She stated there (were) several times that Anthony gave her cocaine, marijuana and alcohol before they would have sex," the document reads.

The student told police that the relationship ended in September 2019.

Quintanilla was then arrested a second time the same month after Corpus Christi ISD police identified a possible second victim.

According to the arrest affidavit, a male former student admitted to an Army warrant officer special agent to having a threesome with Quintanilla and another person when he was still a senior at Mary Carroll High School in May 2019.

The third person in the encounter, a female, was not identified in the document.

The night of the threesome, the former student drank alcohol before the three engaged in sexual activity, the document states.

"He also stated during his interview that he, (the other person) and Quintanilla had a second threesome in early June (2019)," the document reads. "(The male) also stated he lived with Quintanilla from around June 9th (2019) to June 24th (2019) before leaving for Army basic training."

He also said he saw Quintanilla use a white powdery substance several times. He said Quintanilla kept the substance in his closet, the document states.

A screenshot of Anthony Quintanilla's Texas Educator Certificate shows he voluntarily surrendered his certification on July 19, 2020. According to the Texas State Board for Educator Certification, "A voluntary surrender of a certificate occurs as a result of an educator's voluntary relinquishment of a certificate, in lieu of disciplinary proceedings, and renders that certificate invalid."

It is not yet clear if September's indictments include charges related to the second alleged victim.

According to court records, Quintanilla was released from jail on a $500,000 bond on Sept. 30.

Attempts to reach Quintanilla's attorney, Terry Shamsie, were not immediately successful.
