FHP searching for vehicle after Pensacola man killed in Pace Boulevard hit-and-run

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a 64-year-old Pensacola man dead late Wednesday night.

The unknown vehicle was traveling north on North Pace Boulevard near Loretta Lane in Escambia County at approximately 11:42 p.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The pedestrian, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, was in the northbound lanes of North Pace Boulevard when the vehicle struck him and fled.

Video provided to law enforcement shows the vehicle as a possible grey/silver SUV last seen traveling north on North Pace Boulevard. The vehicle should have significant damage to its front area.
