Early Projections For the WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2022 Match Card

Survivor Series has been one of WWE’s cornerstone events for decades, but its importance has waned in recent years.

Somewhere along the way, Survivor Series lost its luster, but Triple H is determined to bring back the prestige. With the announcement that WarGames bouts would take place at the November show, wrestling fans are once again excited about the event.

Here are the early predictions for the entire match card for Survivor Series WarGames 2022.

Women’s WarGames Match: Damage CTRL vs. Team Belair

Men’s WarGames Match: Team Reigns vs. Team McIntyre

Ronda Rousey vs. Liv Morgan

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

*Winners are italicized.

On one side, Team Reigns is the easiest to book, whether four- or five-man teams. If it’s a four-man WarGames match, look for Sami Zayn to join The Usos and Solo Sikoa, while a five-man team would have Roman Reigns added to the equation.

The most important question for the WWE Universe will now be which team challenges them.

Reigns’ biggest threat over the last year besides Brock Lesnar has been Drew McIntyre, and he should once again rise to prominence to challenge the world champion and his stable of family members and friends.

McIntyre can’t do it alone—as we saw at Clash at the Castle—so he will need to surround himself with like-minded performers. If the match is four vs. four, he should reach out to Sheamus and his Brawling Brutes, Ridge Holland and Butch.

If McIntyre needs a fifth member of his team, there is no shortage of options, as The Bloodline has run through most of the roster over the last several months. With Kevin Owens, Logan Paul, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods just a few of those recently impacted by the Tribal Chief, finding a fifth would be easy for McIntyre.

In a perfect world of meaty men slapping meat, the feud between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar would not end at Crown Jewel but instead carry over into Survivor Series for a marquee addition to the card.

As seen from their previous confrontations and the physical battle on Raw, the WWE Universe absolutely adores these two behemoths beating each other up. They should continue to do so throughout the fall.

WWE programming between Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble can be boring and monotonous at times, but letting the feud between Lashley and Lesnar be the cornerstone of Raw would help the company maintain solid ratings against the NFL.

Triple H and WWE Creative should book a non-finish in Saudi Arabia, possibly with the two men knocking each other out by letting Lashley spear Lesnar off the stage. With no definitive winner, the company would set the stage for another rematch at Survivor Series.

With the company dead set on creating memorable moments as the transition from Vince McMahon continues, look for Lesnar and Lashley to put on an epic show at Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.
